MIA S.p.A. is the holding company of Cornaglia Group, that is entrusted in the management to administration services, financial services, business management, information technology and human resources for all Italian and foreign group companies in addition to other subsidiaries. MIA S.p.A. has developed specific skills referred to the legal, health-safety and environment services and to all the organisation of the production system in its entirety too.This services centralisation in only one company, provided with specific skills and internal structure, allows the Cornaglia Group to have more functionality and organisational cohesion.
Administration
The administration department plays a key role for the company group, by managing the financial flows and controlling the right execution of the internal processes. This department deals with the relationships with the company bodies and auditing businesses, the public administration and the tax authorities, it guarantees the compliance with the financial and legal concerns. The company invests continuously in the administrative personnel training in order to be compliance with all the regulatory and tax requirements of the countries where the Cornaglia Group carries out its activity.
IT
Cornaglia IT team supports the Group trought the choice, the purchase and the setting of the most suitable IT Corporate systems. In particular, it cooperates with other internal services trought the management of the technology and the development of the business. It guarantees Group safety through the adoption of security systems in accordance with the most innovative technologies.
Legal
MIA S.p.A. legal office offers its legal advice in case of disputes to the whole Group. It analyses potential controversies following their development with the relevant authorities. Above all, it takes care of contractual aspects for customers and suppliers both. The Legal office monitors and manages the application of the procedures 231, 27001 and the Privacy policies.
Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP)
Cornaglia Group has an internal Prevention and safety office which perform several activities related to Safety an Environment such as: management and update of the Risk assessment Document; scheduling and control of the preventive and protective measures; planning and definition of the employees's training program for the emergency procedures. Moreover, it promotes the continuos improvement required by the Safety and Environment Management system (SGSA)
Human resources
The HR team follows the activities related to the management of the entire staff supporting the internal services and the employees also in regulation area. Moreover, the HR manages the recruitment activities, designs the employee development program, organises training courses in order to improve the staff know-how. It represents also the Group in the industrial disputes.
