The furnishing division of Cornaglia s.p.a. is specialized in product development in the field of design and lighting. Technologies
- Rotational molding
The Plastic Components division has 4 rotary molding machines with 3 or 4 arms, also independent, up to a diameter of 3500 mm in Villarbasse
- Injection moulding
The division has 13 injection presses from 1,500 to 450t at the Villarbasse plant. The presses are normally equipped with manipulators and in some cases of anthropomorphic robots for the unloading of the pieces and for immediate processing.
- Soffiaggio 3D
This technology, developed in collaboration with Krupp Kautex, allows to obtain integral parts soft and rigid parts to meet the assembly specifications and functionality required by the products. The flexibility of the technology, combined with the continuous development of plastic materials, allows the processing of materials with a capacity to resist from 100 ° to 170 °, thus increasing the fields of application of the technology itself.
- 3D blowing
A 30-liter KAUTEX machine and a 100-liter UNILOY machine are used at the Villarbasse plant.
